It’s interesting that when you ask someone how their day is going, if it’s a good day he or she will say “fine,” or “good.” If on the next day you ask the same person, and they’re having a bad day they will give you a litany of problems going into great detail the reasons for the bad day almost like they’re a professional actor, “my knee hurts, I am having trouble with…..I can’t seem to…..this isn’t quite……”

People are innately negative and find it easy to discuss and go into great detail about negative things. This is the first component of real life change: eliminate all descriptions of the negative and learn to be descriptive about the positive.
