This week’s Wednesday Wisdom is derived from a quote from Coach John Wooden: “The people who don’t make mistakes are the people who don’t do anything. Never be afraid to make a mistake.”

Mistakes made while expanding boundaries are what we want. If we aren’t making mistakes, we aren’t far enough out on the edge. If we aren’t pushing against the walls of our capabilities, we aren’t stretching far enough.

Remember, the team that makes the most mistakes usually wins.

Mistakes come from doing, but so does success. The individual who is mistake-free is also probably sitting around doing nothing. And that’s the biggest mistake of all.
