This week’s #WednesdayWisdom I’ll share a few of my saved quotes that have to do with Luck since St. Patrick’s Day is coming up!

Richard Garriott:

Luck is the intersection of preparation and opportunity. Opportunities parade past us all the time. The key is that you have to be paying attention to see them, you must be willing to take risks, you must expose yourself to the possibility of massive failure and you must believe in what you are doing so much that you do it anyway.”

Napoleon Hill:

Most lucky events in life are opportunities, not outcomes. Without effort, good luck becomes a missed opportunity. With effort, good luck can become a life-changing event. You need luck and hard work. It’s not either/or, it’s both/and. The result will not walk through the door on its own.

Ben Franklin:

Diligence is the mother of good luck.”

Opportunity often knocks only to find no one in. The world is full of unfortunate souls who didn’t hear opportunity knocking at their door because they were down at the store buying lottery tickets.

You’ll be about as lucky as you make your mind up to be.

Luck is a combination of two things: an inner ideal followed consistently with courage (have a goal and a strong desire to fulfill it) paired with some kind of outer achievement relating to the inner ideal.

Do you have any favorite quotes about LUCK you’d share?
