This week’s #WednesdayWisdom comes from Coach Rav:

We are all attempting to navigate this self-discovery journey called life. This journey of life and discovery will test our courage. This moment in our industry is testing us in an abundance of ways. But the words we say and the acts we take will become part of the ancestral stories told when we are gone.

When we live with courage, we not only change our lives — we transform the lives of those we love and lead. It’s vital to look at ourselves in the mirror. While accepting the person in the mirror can feel messy, scary, and confusing, that’s okay. We should aspire to be bold, brave, and fearless to show up authentically in our pursuits to find a way even in the face of obstacles and adversity. The circumstances and challenges at home, work, and globally provide us unique opportunities to lean into the uncertainty and our own undiscovered selves.

Each day we should intentionally practice the discipline of courage. When in doubt, return to the present moment and realize our purpose goes beyond ourselves. So with this life and breath, how will we invoke today’s challenges into tomorrow’s opportunities for growth? Be kind and do as much good as possible for as long as you can.

Danielle Doby says: “When you create a difference in someone’s life, you not only impact their life, you impact everyone influenced by them throughout their entire life. No act is ever too small. One by one, this is how to make an ocean rise.”
